The most memorable moments from the NBA Summer League games on Wednesday happened while the players were off of the court.

During halftime of the game between the Atlanta Hawks and the Indiana Pacers, Summer League executives welcomed 1 October survivors and first responders onto the court for an emotional tribute. The survivors stood along representatives from Las Vegas Metro Police, Clark County Fire and Community Ambulance.

"It was surreal, but it was an honor," survivor Shawna Bartlett said after the ceremony.

During the tribute, survivor Pat Dalton Amico played a song he wrote as a tribute to the 58 people killed in the shooting. While he sang, the names of the 58 victims scrolled on the jumbotron.

"The tears came, seeing those 58 names roll on the screen. It's never easy to see those," Bartlett said.

NBA Summer League runs through July 17 on the UNLV campus.
