A health center with multiple locations in the Las Vegas Valley is set to help families get a jump start on the upcoming school year with immunization clinics.

FirstMed Health and Wellness Centers will host free back-to-school immunization clinics to prepare children who need to meet Nevada's immunization requirements, a release said.

"This is a great opportunity for parents to make sure their school-aged children are fully immunized before entering school and comply with Clark County school entry requirements," said Pam Beal, Chief Operating Officer for FirstMed. "Vaccines are safe, effective and protect our communities from diseases."
